&#9;<li>Evaluate and oversee the ability of the assistant to provide therapy services at the assigned site(s)
&#9;<li>Develop appropriate IEP goals and attend IEP meetings for students on SLPAâs caseload
&#9;<li>Write progress notes that align with data collection from the SLPA and direct observations/interactions with the student&nbsp;
&#9;<li>Guide the development of a plan for the assistant to complete twelve (12) hours of continuing professional development every two years

<br><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong><br> 

<ul>
&#9;<li>Conducting ethically and legally defensible CA school-based services
&#9;<li>Conducting appropriate assessments, writing comprehensive evaluation reports
&#9;<li>Consulting and collaborating with Parent/Teacher/IEP Team regarding service delivery
&#9;<li>Targeting modification, accommodation and/or generalization of skills
&#9;<li>Maintaining daily therapy logs, data collection, attendance registers
&#9;<li>IEPs: Writing goals in support of curricular standards&nbsp;
&#9;<li>Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
</ul>

<br><strong>Requirements</strong><br> 

<ul>
&#9;<li>Masterâs degree in Speech-Language Pathology
&#9;<li>Current CA SLP license/credential or eligibility
&#9;<li>Fingerprint background clearance
&#9;<li>Tuberculosis (TB) clearance
</ul>
