Supervised and evaluated by the Director of Behavior Services, the Senior Clinical Supervisor provides mentorship and supervision for supervisees working within an assigned geographic region(s)/district(s). This position also serves as a liaison between SPG’s corporate office and district administrators, coordinates or develops and provides professional development training, and provides districts with direct services, as needed.
DUTIES:
- Supervise RBTs, BCBAs, and BCaBAs by adhering to requirements set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), as well as SPG guidelines.
- Support and supervise all SPG behavior staff working within an assigned geographic region(s)/district(s) by orienting employees to district policies/procedures (i.e., documentation requirements), conducting site visits, maintaining ongoing communication throughout the year, responding to staff questions in a timely manner via phone, email, or text, reviewing employee time cards and engaging in other supportive activities (i.e. attending high priority IEP meetings, monthly district meetings).
- Serve as a liaison between SPG and district administrators (i.e., director of special education, coordinator of special education or lead program supervisor) by building and developing professional relationships with district designee, helping to resolve site-based issues, problem-solving caseload issues, attending district meetings, assisting with staff placement and being knowledgeable of current district policies and procedures.
- Promote and participate in SPG’s Professional Development (PD) Program by coordinating PDs, researching new topics or speakers, developing and/or presenting in-services, hosting monthly trainings, and contributing to SPG’s special projects (i.e., SIGs, Employee Spotlights, etc.).
- Provide direct and diagnostic services to contracting clients, including conducting IEEs.
- Serve as a representative of SPG’s organizational culture by following company policies and procedures, promoting teamwork and collaboration, monitoring new special education laws and regulations, and representing the company with professionalism and a positive attitude.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have at least 3 years of experience working as a certified BCBA in a variety of settings
- Must maintain BACB certification
