Behavior Interventionist (BI)

SPG Therapy & Education is currently hiring Behavior Interventionists (BIs) for school-based positions for the 2026-2027 school year!
SPG was founded in 1989 by a Speech Language Pathologist seeking to improve the way students receive clinical support at school. What started as a group focused on speech therapy, has grown to include multiple disciplines, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)! As a multidisciplinary team our mission is to “empower remarkable change together.”
As a BI at SPG you can expect a comprehensive training and mentorship program, with weekly supervision from Behavior Specialists. Salary: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour, depending on experience and education. Regular salary reviews and increases available
Responsibilities:
- Implement Behavior Intervention Plans
- Work with students using ABA to manage behaviors of concern and increase skill acquisition
- Collect data
- Support teachers and staff with implementing student specific or classroom wide positive behavior interventions

Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) experience and/or school based student support experience
- Ability to work with students in-person
- Fingerprint background clearance
- Tuberculosis (TB) clearance
- Reliable transportation to school sites is a critical requirement in order to effectively carry out the responsibilities of this position. As such, a valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance may be required, particularly in situations where alternate modes of transportation are unavailable.
- Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus but not a requirement
- Preferred - Associate’s Degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Speech-Language pathology, or related field
